Megan is a super duper sweet friend. She was so fun to photograph today. But how could I go wrong with a subject with such gorgeous eyes!

Inspire Me Beautiful
I have been so inspired and transformed by the women I have photographed. It struck me that although I can make you look beautiful in images your true beauty has been planted and uplifted but so many people in your life.
I wish we would all take the time to sit and look in the mirror and reflect upon how many people have influenced our paths, touched our lives, and spoke to our souls. I wanted to give you a chance to thank those who have given you grace, hope, persistence, a fighting spirit, and many other qualities that shine through in a beautiful image.
The Inspire Me Beautiful Contest is a way to honor a women in your life. I want you to write me a letter describing an incredible women. Share with me how she has touched your life and why you would like to see her pampered and photographed! Mail your letter to Kim Bear Photography, 140 E. 5th Street, Colby KS by June 15th. The winner will be announced on June 20th! Please include your contact information and a contact email for your nominee.
The winner will be able to select another women who she wants to spend the day having lunch, getting fulling glamour hair and make up, and being photographed with. The afternoon will take place at my studio in Colby, KS. She will also receive 200.00 to spend on beautiful portraits! And she will have until the end of the calendar year to book her session. Sorry... she can't give it away! This is for her to use!
All nominated women and those who write a letter will be given a 50.00 portrait voucher. Let someone who has let you shine... get to shine to!
This was a beautiful family generation shoot. What a gift to have images with your great grandmother. I can only wish that I had that chance. I can only wish I could give my girls that gift. I loved this shoot. I loved letting these women love on each other. I loved how sweet they were and how excited they were about this time they had together.
One of my favorite shots is the one of the three girls looking up over my head. If only I had a pull back... those smiles were for their grandmother and great grandmother who were standing behind me. Kids give the truest smiles when they looking at someone who loves them!

Who I am...
I am a strong women.
I am beautiful.
I am funny.
I am young.
I am here.
I am healthy.
I am Jennifer.
These three images are so important for me. Jennifer was diagnosed with cancer and beat it in her thirties! This shoot was as much about her as it was the people who supported her and loved her. Her aunt and her best friend. Her best friend was killed in an accident and couldn't see her so he was with her in spirit.

BoHo Chic Beauty
What is modern beauty? I think glamour is back. Well... did looking good and feeling good ever go out of style? This was such a beautiful shoot for me. Obviously my model Jenny is awesomely beautiful. What I saw though was something more than just a pretty face. Jenny is one of the coolest women I have had a chance to photograph. She was so down to earth and unaware of how beautiful she is. I loved doing shoots like these. The woods were perfect for the look we were going for and can you believe the outfits Jenny brought? They were her mom's that her mom made back in the day. They looks right off the rack from a cool store today. Thanks Jenny for romping in the wood with me and being so cool to photograph.
To me this is one of the prettiest photographs I have ever taken. I loved the lighting, the location, and obviously Jenny is super pretty.
